The liberty sought by Beethoven must be seen in the context of his time, and his exploration is rooted in the philosophy of the Enlightenment. Our world today continues to seek artistic, political and civic freedom – freedoms taken for granted by some, but fought for by others, through exile, creative power and poetry, like our artistic guest, Kubra Khademi. Through her work, Khademi explores her life as a refugee and a woman.
