Description
The song "Woman" is taken from Magross' CD-EP "Speaking of Love", released in the year 2002 and again 2010 in digital form by NV Records.
The latter was distributed worldwide by Believe Digital in the main digital music and mobile phone stores.
In this music video, conceived and realized by Magross himself, appear a row of pictures taken from the life of his mother, the singer-dancer of Catalan origin Joss Verdeluna, to whom it is dedicated.
Coming from a family of antiquarians of noble lineage dating back to her paternal great-grandfather, count Carlo, she proved since her first years of life to be and infant prodigy (her first performance was at the age of 13), clearly showing her natural bent for dance and singing.
At 16 she was noticed because of her extraordinary photogenic quality by the singer and actor Achille Togliani, who introduced her into the world of photo novels and into the environment of important professional photographers.
In her nineteens she was married to Marion Lama, who was then a boxer (middleweight class), whose father, in his birthplace Rosario (Santa Fe), Argentina, was a childhood friend of the Argentinian violinist, composer and conductor Eduardo Bianco, who was the most famous international symbol of tango in the Thirties.
From the marriage two sons were born, the elder and above cited Magross, and Robin, who was the first road manager of his brother, with whom he worked for more than five years.
A choice of photos portraying her have been inserted during the years, alternatively in one or in double copy, in various television spots.
Five of them have been included in this video.
